About the role

Tarleton State University seeks an Instructor for the Department of Sport Professions within the College of Kinesiology and Sport Science. This 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty position is based on the main campus in Stephenville, Texas, with opportunities to teach on‑site, at other university locations, or online.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate courses in sport professions, kinesiology, and sport science.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum planning, and community outreach.
• Collaborate with faculty on instructional modalities and campus initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant graduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in sport science, kinesiology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the college level, both in‑person and online.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without university‑sponsored immigration fees.
