Instructor – MS Organizational Leadership (Online)

About the role

The College of Innovation and Design seeks a full‑time, twelve‑month Instructor to teach the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. This non‑tenure‑track position is primarily remote, delivering competency‑based education online, with occasional travel to the East Texas A&M campus or Dallas site.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as instructor of record for core and elective courses within the MS Organizational Leadership program.
• Provide on‑demand assistance, engage students actively, and employ student‑centered instructional methods.
• Deliver instruction in classroom, blended, hybrid, or fully online formats, using innovative techniques.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and supply timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Contribute to departmental service, collaborate with colleagues, and support university and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Organizational Leadership or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching graduate‑level courses, preferably in a competency‑based or online environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage remote instruction, and travel occasionally as needed.

• Proficiency with online learning platforms and course management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication for effective virtual instruction.
