Finance Director

About the role

Synapticure is seeking a Finance Director to serve as the strategic pillar for the company’s financial runway. Reporting to the CFO, you will own enterprise‑wide forecasting, budgeting, and strategic modeling, translating growth ideas into robust financial frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate deal pipelines, new business opportunities, and scenario planning.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure strategic initiatives are captured in rolling forecasts.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations and the Controller on revenue trends and budget‑vs‑actual tracking.
• Model complex Value‑Based Care initiatives and track clinical trials, life‑science projects, and grant funding.
• Synthesize financial data into pitch decks, analyses, and strategic commentary for the Board and investors.
• Assess and recommend modern FP&A software tools to enhance reporting beyond QuickBooks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic finance leadership within fast‑paced, early‑stage environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate open‑ended ideas into quantitative models.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, especially with revenue, operations, and clinical teams.
