Farm Aide (Tractor Driver)

About the role

The Farm Aide (Tractor Driver) supports daily farm operations by operating and maintaining tractors and related equipment. Working under supervision, you will assist with field preparation, planting, harvesting, and general upkeep of farm facilities in Weslaco, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tractors and farm implements for tilling, planting, cultivating, and spreading seeds.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on tractors, graders, rollers, plows, and other equipment.
• Transport materials, pull or push agricultural tools, and use laser‑leveling equipment to prepare fields.
• Inspect equipment for lubrication, report faults, and ensure safe operation.
• Assist with field tasks such as mowing, weed control, irrigation, pesticide application, and fence construction/repair.
• Maintain farm buildings, roadside areas, and remove trash from the site.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of tractor operation.
• Experience performing maintenance on tractors and farm equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety guidelines.
