About the role
Lamb Weston is seeking a results‑driven Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for Walmart and Sam’s Club. Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, you will own category, sales and profit growth for both the House of Brands and Private Label portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart and Sam’s Club buyers and internal cross‑functional teams.
- Lead annual planning processes to achieve revenue, profit and market‑share targets.
- Utilize Walmart Retail Link, Walmart Connect, Scintilla and other data sources to develop customer solutions.
- Meet distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising goals for the category.
- Manage the trade budget to drive demand and monitor business performance with tools such as Power BI and NIQ.
- Develop accurate SKU‑level forecasts in partnership with planning, supply chain, finance and marketing.
- Ensure compliance with Walmart and Sam’s audit requirements.
- Act as a trusted category advisor and drive innovative strategies for branded and private‑label mixes.
Required profile
- Proven experience selling to large retail chains, preferably Walmart or Sam’s Club.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Track record of delivering revenue and profit growth in a consumer‑goods environment.
