About the role

The College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University Health Science Center seeks a Dental Hygienist to join its Comprehensive Dentistry department in Dallas. This full‑time, on‑site position supports a high‑volume clinical environment while delivering preventive oral health care to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including oral prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and other preventive services.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive practices.
• Conduct oral screenings, assess new patients, and develop individualized care plans.
• Review patient histories, record medical information, and ensure proper precautions.
• Manage a daily caseload of four to five patients, adapting to schedule demands.
• Coordinate with patient schedulers for appointment reminders and follow‑up calls.
• Liaise with referring dental offices to address incoming patient needs.
