Construction Laborer (Peón de Construcción)

About the role

HEI, a leading civil construction company operating across Arizona, the Carolinas, Colorado, and Texas, is seeking experienced Construction Laborers to join its on‑site teams. The role involves supporting a variety of infrastructure projects, from roads and bridges to water systems and environmental restoration.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed.
• Lift and move loads up to 70 lb safely.
• Excavate pits, trenches, and foundations.
• Load, unload, and properly dispose of debris and waste materials.
• Operate loading equipment or perform manual material handling.
• Follow all site safety procedures and attend daily safety briefings.
• Report safety violations and incidents promptly to supervisors.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of construction principles and procedures.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials.
• Ability to work in high‑pressure environments and extreme weather conditions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferably 2+ years of construction experience.
