About the role
The Community Manager for The June will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the assigned property, leading the on‑site team and ensuring financial and operational goals are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and monitor property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
- Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate with accounting.
- Manage lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
- Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention through effective communication and service initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in multifamily property management or a similar real‑estate role.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other housing regulations.
- Ability to interpret financial statements, budgets, and market reports.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage staff and vendor relationships.
