Community Assistant – Union on Alley (Student Living)

About the role

The Community Assistant supports Greystar’s property management team at Union on Alley, a student‑living community in Fort Collins. The role focuses on administrative leasing tasks, resident services, and on‑site marketing to help achieve occupancy and retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office administration such as copying, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling calls, and organizing rent payments.
• Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, give property tours, and show apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize lease files, and support move‑in/move‑out processes, including mandatory “turn” dates.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments, and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach.
• Coordinate resident events, distribute flyers, newsletters, surveys, and late notices.
• Serve as after‑hours liaison, respond to emergencies, and complete at least one on‑call shift per week.

Required profile

• Willingness to work required move‑in and move‑out dates, with exceptions approved in writing.
• Availability for at least one on‑call shift per week.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
