Business Analyst - Private Capital

About the role

Join McKinsey’s Private Capital practice in New York as a Business Analyst. You will work alongside a small team of consultants to help leading private equity, credit, real‑estate and infrastructure investors solve complex strategic challenges across the deal cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in 3‑5 member teams to gather and analyse client data.
• Formulate and test hypotheses that address investment, due‑diligence and portfolio‑company issues.
• Develop clear, data‑driven recommendations and present them to senior client leadership.
• Support deal identification, due‑diligence, and portfolio‑company operational projects.
