Bilingual Transactional Attorney

About the role

We are a Texas‑based business law firm serving clients across the Greater Houston and Bryan/College Station areas. We are looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) transactional attorney to join our team and work on domestic and international commercial matters from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, service contracts, and financing documents.
• Handle oil, gas, and energy transactions such as joint operating agreements, leases, and related contracts.
• Support cross‑border and international deals, advising Spanish‑speaking clients and coordinating with foreign counsel.
• Advise on entity formation, corporate structuring, and governance matters.
• Negotiate and document commercial finance and private‑equity transactions.
• Manage commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
• Conduct due diligence and oversee transactions from inception through closing.
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly in both English and Spanish.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas bar license in good standing.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities for commercial agreements.
• Experience with energy‑sector transactional matters.
• Ability to manage cross‑border transactions and coordinate with foreign parties.
• Legal research and due‑diligence expertise.
