Assistant Manager – Affordable Housing Coordinator

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Manager Specialist to serve as the Affordable Housing Coordinator for a garden‑style community in Kensington, Sacramento. The role ensures strict compliance with state and local affordable‑housing regulations while supporting leasing and move‑in processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review, monitor, and maintain property compliance with all Affordable Housing program reporting requirements.
• Coordinate recertifications, leasing activities, and the move‑in process for residents.
• Collaborate closely with the Community Manager and other staff to address compliance issues promptly.
• Prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting.

Required profile

• Current experience in affordable‑housing compliance.
• Strong background in recertifications, leasing, and resident move‑ins.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Yardi property management software (preferred).
