Assistant Community Manager - Core

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager – Core will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a stabilized 275‑unit community. This full‑time position involves handling accounting tasks, rent collection, and daily financial reporting to ensure smooth community operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting and bookkeeping duties, including monthly close‑out and financial report preparation.
• Process invoices, collect rent, fees, and other payments, and complete bank deposits.
• Manage delinquency, resident account reconciliation, and rent‑collection activities.
• Maintain accurate records in the property‑management software and generate financial reports.
• Assist with on‑call duties as required and support the Community Manager in day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in an assistant community management or similar property‑management role.
• Proven experience with rent collections, delinquency management, and resident account reconciliation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm, with on‑call responsibilities.

Required skills

• Experience using property‑management accounting software.
• Fundamental accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
