Assistant Community Manager – Calero

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Calero community. This position handles daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain Community Manager approval.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering data accurately and performing system backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation.
• Handle resident move‑out processes, reviewing lease terms and deposit applications.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and owners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
