About the role

Konica Minolta is seeking an Area Vice President to lead its sales organization across a defined region. The role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for driving revenue growth, building high‑performing teams and strengthening customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Directors to meet area‑level sales, pipeline, activity and forecast targets aligned with regional and national strategies.
  • Coach the sales team on opportunity strategy, territory planning, competitive positioning and customer engagement to ensure disciplined execution.
  • Maintain strong pipeline health, accurate forecasting and consistent use of sales methodologies, CRM and performance management processes.
  • Recruit, hire and develop high‑performing sales leaders, conducting regular performance reviews and targeted development plans.
  • Foster an inclusive, high‑performance sales culture focused on accountability, recognition and continuous improvement.
  • Support Sales Directors in building deep customer relationships, advancing major opportunities and engaging key prospects.
  • Monitor competitive trends and market dynamics within the area to inform strategy.
  • Review and manage forecasted revenue streams on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, analysing performance and identifying productivity improvements.
  • Ensure operational sales discipline through consistent reporting, territory optimization and quota alignment.

Required profile

  • 7+ years of progressive sales experience with a proven record of leading high‑performing sales teams.
  • Experience in office technology, managed services, software or related B2B industries is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned area and work in a fast‑paced, dynamic field environment.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a sales leadership role.
