Apprentice & Journeyman Carpenter – Jeffersonville, OH

About the role

ACP Ohio is hiring Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenters to join its growing team in Jeffersonville, Ohio. The position offers competitive Columbus‑area rates up to $37.86 per hour for journeymen and welcomes candidates of all skill levels.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Assist supervisors with structural design, layout planning, and installation.
• Perform repair and installation of exterior assemblies, vapor barriers, insulation, doors, drywall, acoustic grids, ceilings, and other fixtures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while standing, climbing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Reliable transportation to the job site.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 18 feet and lift 50 lb unassisted.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States (E‑Verify participation).
• Pass a drug screening; no background check required.
• Willingness to join the union after seven days of employment.

Required skills
