Adjunct Faculty – Dual Credit (Face‑to‑Face) – Commerce Campus

About the role

Texas A&M University‑Commerce is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach dual‑credit courses on a face‑to‑face basis at the Commerce campus. The position is on a course‑by‑course basis and may involve up to two courses (seven semester credit hours) per academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage course syllabi that meet departmental and college standards.
• Plan and deliver lectures, in‑class discussions, and assignments for the assigned discipline.
• Assess student performance through participation, assignments, examinations, and provide grades.
• Mentor and assist students as needed.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the department.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the relevant field, or a terminal degree in the discipline.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience at the college level.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
