About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking qualified pharmacy residents to serve as Academic Visitors. In this short‑term, on‑site role, you will join the Teaching Certificate Program and support the education of College of Pharmacy (COP) students.

Key responsibilities

Participate in the Teaching Certificate Program on campus.
Assist in delivering lectures, labs, and workshops to COP students.
Collaborate with faculty and other residents to enhance the learning experience.
Maintain compliance with UAMS health and safety policies, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements.

Required profile

Current PharmD graduate.
Active resident at the Veterans Affairs (VA) or Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH).
Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Required skills

Pharmacy clinical knowledge.
Teaching or mentoring experience preferred.
