Senior Service Technician (Northshore)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Service Technician to support the Northshore property in Austin. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• Proven experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a property or facilities setting.
• Ability to follow safety and risk‑management policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely completion of tasks.
