Production Associate – Cylinder Processing

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is looking for a Production Associate to join its Baton Rouge plant. The associate will fill, label, and prepare medical and industrial gas cylinders while operating a cryogenic liquid filling system and maintaining strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders according to plant guidelines.
• Conduct visual, physical, and odor inspections to determine retesting or repair needs.
• Load and unload product from the weekly shuttle truck and operate cylinder scales.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders, enter shipment data, and maintain inventory records.
• Operate a forklift and other plant vehicles safely.
• Complete quality‑control documentation in line with company and governmental procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 lb.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• At least 1 year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Strong organizational, listening, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and integrity.
