Leasing Professional – Garden Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Natura Gardens community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and oversee smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before occupancy and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease preparation, application processing, and apartment inspections.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Comfortable working a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property management software.
• Experience using online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
