Corporate Controller

About the role

Giga is looking for a Corporate Controller to own the financial integrity of a fast‑growing AI infrastructure company. This senior position will drive technical accounting, regulatory compliance, and the financial foundation needed for capital raises and operational scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of technical accounting, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting, asset capitalization, and complex debt/equity instruments.
• Serve as the primary authority on US GAAP compliance, develop accounting policies, and ensure consistency across multiple entities.
• Manage and develop the accounting team, setting expectations, evaluating performance, and fostering a high‑output culture.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
• Direct external auditor relationships and lead the end‑to‑end annual audit.
• Partner with legal, operations, and executive leadership on complex transactions such as project financing, M&A, and capital raises.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal controls framework (SOX‑ready) as the company prepares for potential liquidity events.
• Drive implementation and optimization of financial systems to support rapid growth.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate accounting and controllership within high‑growth, multi‑entity environments.
• Proven leadership ability to build and manage an accounting team.
• Strong track record of handling complex financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting capital raises (debt and equity) and large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional leaders and influence strategic decisions.
