Assistant Superintendent - Traveling

About the role

We are a national leader in integrated design‑build delivery, focusing on complex industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and facility expansion projects. We are seeking a Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support on‑site leadership across multiple states and help deliver high‑quality industrial construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily on‑site field management for industrial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain workflow and resolve conflicts.
• Conduct daily site walks, maintain logs, and document progress, issues, and quality checks.
• Support scheduling, look‑ahead planning, and updating progress reports.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Track materials, deliveries, and equipment usage to avoid delays.
• Assist quality‑control inspections and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Communicate regularly with the Superintendent and Project Manager about site conditions, challenges, and progress.

Required profile

• 3+ years of post‑graduation construction experience.
• At least 1 year serving as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience in industrial construction.
• High School Diploma.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in MS, IL, IN, OH, NC, VA, and GA.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
