Vice President, Sales - Commercial

About the role

The Vice President, Sales - Commercial will shape and execute the commercial sales strategy across North America. Reporting to senior leadership, this executive will drive revenue growth, lead a distributed sales team, and build lasting relationships with enterprise and mid‑market customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement regional sales strategies and operating plans to meet revenue targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives across multiple territories.
• Drive pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, quota attainment, and disciplined sales execution.
• Establish consultative selling frameworks, territory planning, and account growth initiatives.
• Build executive‑level relationships with customers, prospects, and strategic partners.
• Support complex enterprise negotiations and close high‑value opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, customer success, and engineering to optimize go‑to‑market performance.
• Develop channel, alliance, and ecosystem partnerships to expand market reach.
• Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic planning.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent while fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee regional budgets, forecasting, and executive reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record of scaling commercial organizations and delivering consistent revenue growth.
• Strong strategic vision combined with operational discipline.
• Excellent executive communication and relationship‑building skills.
