Traveling Centrifuge Operator – Heavy Equipment & Waste Handling

About the role

We are seeking a traveling Centrifuge Operator to join HPC‑Industrial’s field team. The role involves operating a variety of heavy‑equipment centrifuges and related machinery at client sites while ensuring strict health‑and‑safety compliance and handling waste unloading tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Operate decanter centrifuges, belt presses, filter presses and ancillary equipment such as pumps and conveyors.
• Run special equipment including centrifugal and positive‑displacement pumps and 5 000 psi pressure washers.
• Complete daily checklists, paperwork and waste‑tracking documentation in accordance with SOPs.
• Secure containers with chock blocks or jack stands and unload waste from incoming trucks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all health‑and‑safety policies and using emergency equipment.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management to support site operations.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of hands‑on centrifuge operating experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company or personal vehicle for work travel.
• English comprehension sufficient for safety training and emergency instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to obtain a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) if required.
