Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Systems Administrator to manage and support the technology infrastructure for over 200 users in a hybrid Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS environment. Reporting to the Director of IT, you will oversee day‑to‑day system operations, cloud services, security, and a help‑desk team of five, while driving strategic initiatives and hands‑on technical work.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize a hybrid Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS environment for 200+ users, ensuring performance, security, and user experience.
• Administer Windows Server and Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and permissions.
• Manage Google Workspace security policies and Mobile Device Management solutions (ManageEngine, Iru).
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans for all IT systems.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, Workspaces, Security Groups, VPCs) and Meraki networking equipment.
• Monitor the security stack (CrowdStrike, Google Workspace, Meraki, Keepnet), remediate vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents.
• Optimize MS SQL databases and create automation workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Lead a help‑desk team of five, handling ticket queues, providing tier‑3/4 support, and evaluating software requests.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Proven experience leading a help‑desk team.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work independently.
• Excellent documentation and compliance awareness.
