Subcontracts Administrator – Advanced Manufacturing

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to support its Advanced Manufacturing projects. In this position you will manage the full subcontracting lifecycle for professional and construction services, ensuring compliance with company policies and project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Request for Proposal (RFP) packages and manage the bid cycle.
• Coordinate pre‑bid meetings, receive and review proposals, and conduct bid tabulation.
• Lead commercial bid evaluations and negotiate terms with bidders, working closely with the legal department.
• Draft award subcontract documents, obtain approvals, and conduct pre‑award meetings.
• Administer subcontractor invoices, change orders, and risk mitigation activities.
• Support claim resolution, dispute handling, and subcontract close‑out processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in subcontract administration or procurement within construction or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects up to $50 M with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement concepts, bid management, and contract administration.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical proposals and performing commercial evaluations.
