About the role
LinkedIn is seeking a motivated SMB Account Executive to join its Talent & Learning team in Chicago. The role blends inbound and outbound sales activities to help companies adopt LinkedIn’s recruitment solutions, driving growth while delivering value to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect continuously to build a robust pipeline and nurture strong relationships with potential customers.
- Provide accurate forecasts and maintain transparent communication with management regarding pipeline health.
- Close new business consistently, meeting or exceeding quota.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, sharing competitive insights with the team.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams by relaying market feedback.
- Coach colleagues, contribute to best‑practice documentation, and take on emerging initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and close high‑value deals in a consultative environment.
- Strong negotiation, forecasting, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
- Willingness to act in the client’s best interest while achieving company objectives.
Required skills
- Salesforce.com platform proficiency.
