Service Supervisor – Alta Trails

About the role

The Service Supervisor for the Alta Trails community ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Reporting to the Community Manager, this role combines hands‑on maintenance work with oversight of vendors and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, scheduling contractors, procuring supplies and inspecting completed work.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.
• Support the Community Manager in overall property upkeep and resident satisfaction initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of building‑systems issues.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors and internal service teams.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Ability to manage inventory and adhere to budgetary constraints.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
