About the role
TFI is seeking a Senior Vice President of Finance to lead its financial operations and strategy. Reporting directly to the CFO, this senior leader will align financial goals with the organization’s mission and long‑term objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support organizational goals.
- Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Manage cash‑flow planning and investment activities to maximize returns.
- Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for the finance team.
- Monitor investment activities and recommend actions to improve returns.
- Strengthen analytics and reporting to evaluate program and agency performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree and CPA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform complex calculations.
- Willingness to travel for meetings and training; valid driver’s license.
