Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager – Technology

About the role

The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Technology Sourcing, is an experienced individual contributor who leads category strategy, sourcing execution, and supplier governance for Autodesk’s global technology portfolio. The role focuses on software, infrastructure, and technology professional services and reports to the Director of Technology Sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Own category strategy development for software, infrastructure, and professional services.
• Design and implement innovative commercial models such as SaaS, retainer, rate‑card, and outcome‑based pricing.
• Lead global RFPs, supplier evaluations, and complex negotiations, driving total‑value, risk, and scalability considerations.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, ESG, and Procurement Operations to structure master agreements and statements of work.
• Act as a trusted sourcing advisor to senior business, finance, and legal leaders, translating functional strategies into scalable sourcing solutions.
• Drive supplier consolidation, preferred‑supplier frameworks, and strategic relationships with key technology vendors.
• Support enterprise cost‑optimization and spend‑management initiatives aligned with quarterly and annual planning cycles.

Required profile

• Senior‑level procurement professional with deep expertise in technology sourcing.
• Proven ability to develop multi‑year category strategies aligned with business and financial goals.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills, influencing senior leaders across product, technology, and corporate functions.
• Experience managing complex, cross‑functional sourcing challenges and delivering commercial outcomes.
