Senior Project Manager – Retail Construction

About the role

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a growing retail program across Texas. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of small‑format retail projects, from concept through grand opening, while collaborating with internal teams, clients, construction partners, landlords, and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retail construction projects from early concept through grand opening, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, vendors, landlords, and client stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Balance construction activities with ongoing retail operations, ensuring store teams and customer experience remain a priority.
• Navigate retail‑specific challenges such as seasonal timelines, merchandising schedules, accelerated builds, and quick turnarounds.
• Lead project teams through tight schedules, night/weekend work, and occupied renovations when required.
• Track and report project status, budgets, and risks using Smartsheet and Excel.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for the client, building trust and maintaining strong relationships.
• Travel throughout the Dallas area to support active projects and ensure execution stays on track.

Required profile

• Senior Project Manager with 5+ years of experience.
• Retail project management experience, preferably small‑format retail or quick‑service restaurant.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects (8+ annually).
• Proficiency with Smartsheet and Excel for budgets, schedules, and reporting.
