Senior Community Manager – 10 WestEdge

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the 10 WestEdge high‑rise property in Charleston. The role involves leading on‑site staff, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a stabilized 350‑unit high‑rise, supervising staff and resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Develop and monitor property budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial status reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of payments.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, discounts, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends, providing short‑ and long‑term marketing recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with Greystar policies, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multi‑family housing regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑family residential properties, preferably high‑rise assets.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
• Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets and control operating expenses.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating with vendors, owners, and internal teams.
