About the role
The Research Engineer IV will lead experimental research on emerging electronic and optoelectronic materials and devices aimed at next‑generation AI hardware applications. The role also includes mentoring graduate and undergraduate students within the research group.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct experimental research on emerging electronic and optoelectronic materials and devices for AI hardware.
- Assist and advise graduate and undergraduate students in the research group.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education/experience.
- At least six years of related research experience.
- Team‑player attitude with a collaborative mindset.
- PhD in electrical engineering, materials science, applied physics, or chemical engineering is a plus.
Required skills
- Semiconductor materials and device research.
- Nanomaterial synthesis and processing.
- Nanofabrication techniques.
- Microscopic and spectroscopic material characterization.
- Testing of electronic and optoelectronic devices.
