Product Designer – Advertising

About the role

Spotify’s Advertising Product & Technology team is building a next‑generation platform that connects millions of listeners with brands. As a mid‑level Product Designer you will shape the advertiser‑facing experience, working on high‑impact features such as campaign creation, audience targeting, reporting and optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end user experiences for Spotify’s self‑serve Ads Manager, covering ad creation, targeting, reporting and measurement.
• Contribute to and maintain a shared design system, ensuring component reusability, accessibility and visual consistency across internal tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate backend APIs, ML‑powered features and automation into intuitive, performant interfaces.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists and researchers to define product direction and validate design decisions with real data.
• Build interactive prototypes that showcase motion, data‑driven interactions and technical constraints.
• Support internal tooling projects that improve operational efficiency for Spotify’s advertising teams.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience designing complex, data‑rich products, preferably in advertising or media.
• Comfort navigating ambiguous technical domains such as AI, automation and experimentation.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional partners (PMs, engineers, researchers, data scientists).
• Ability to advocate for user needs while influencing product roadmaps.
