Part-Time Leasing Professional – The Hawthorne

About the role

Greystar is seeking a motivated Part‑Time Leasing Professional to join the team at The Hawthorne community in Riverside. This role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through effective leasing and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing strategies.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and follow community policies on concessions and specials.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates are welcome; 1+ years of leasing experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Availability to work weekends with a schedule of 9 am–6 pm, subject to change based on business needs.

• Proficiency with internet marketing tools (e.g., Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
• Ability to conduct credit screening and background checks.
