Make Ready/Turn Technician – Amberwood at Lochmere

About the role

The Make Ready/Turn Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartments at Amberwood at Lochmere for new residents. You will ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards by completing repairs, improvements, and cleaning tasks in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements to apartments before resident move‑in, following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑cutting initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Document all work and complete the make‑ready checklist promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answering questions and addressing maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical labor and lift moderate weights.
• Availability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists.
• Commitment to safety procedures and reporting incidents promptly.
