Maintenance Technician - Old Stone Row

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Old Stone Row property in Richmond. The role focuses on ensuring the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Good organizational skills for tracking inventory and scheduling tasks.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, lift equipment and work in various weather conditions.
