Maintenance Technician – Everleigh Forestwood

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Everleigh Forestwood – from apartments to common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will respond to resident service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspection.
• Track and manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, returning unused items and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs safely and in compliance with company policies.
• Experience with make‑ready procedures and coordinating vendors.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory tracking and documentation.
