Maintenance Technician – Encanto (Mesa Del Sol)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at the Encanto community in Mesa Del Sol, Albuquerque. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies and participate in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and building issues following established procedures.
• Experience with make‑ready turnover processes and coordinating vendors.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
• Commitment to safety standards and participation in safety meetings.
