Maintenance Supervisor – Westwood Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Westwood community’s buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This on‑site role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of team members’ work and of contractor/vendor performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule with three other supervisors to provide 24/7 coverage.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a residential community.
• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team and communicate effectively with residents and vendors.
• Strong time‑management and proactive, preventative mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with RealPage property management software.
• Familiarity with Happy Property platform.
