Maintenance Supervisor – Stride West Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Stride West community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors and internal staff to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope requirements.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to supervise staff, coordinate vendors and manage work orders efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, building codes and preventative‑maintenance practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
