Maintenance Supervisor for The Henley Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that The Henley community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role involves handling resident service requests, overseeing unit turnover, and maintaining the overall appearance of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing the source of defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and inspecting finished work.
• Develop and enforce standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members and by external contractors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards and specifications, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, and collaborate with the Community Manager to order supplies while staying within budgetary guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property maintenance and ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, vendor schedules and inventory.
• Ability to conduct inspections, enforce standards and develop corrective action plans.
• Effective communication with residents, team members and contractors.
