Leasing Professional – The Ironwood

About the role

The Leasing Professional for The Ironwood will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to lease renewal. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing or property‑management environments.
• Strong ability to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitor activity.
