Leasing Professional – RT 500

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a Greystar community in Berkeley Heights. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals through full-cycle leasing activities and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other websites.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show unit quality by daily inspections and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to manage the full leasing cycle and provide excellent resident service.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.
• Awareness of local market trends and ability to develop effective marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in using property management software to track leasing activities and resident data.
