Leasing Professional – Garden-Style Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for a 309‑unit garden‑style community, ensuring high occupancy, revenue targets and resident satisfaction. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends and reports to the on‑site property management team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications.
• Perform credit and criminal background checks, prepare lease documents and coordinate smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, confirm move‑in readiness and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain prospect data.
