Groundskeeper / Porter for Fountainhead Community

About the role

The Fountainhead community in San Antonio is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to keep the property clean, safe, and welcoming. You will work closely with the service team to maintain curb appeal, support turn‑over processes, and ensure resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet waste to keep the grounds tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before make‑ready, transport waste to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
