Floating Leasing Professional

About the role

The Floating Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a Greystar community to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. This role involves guiding prospects through the leasing process, ensuring a smooth move‑in experience, and fostering resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and oversee resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before occupancy and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for lease documentation and apartment readiness.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adapt leasing strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
