Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller leads accounting and controllership across the Americas, ensuring accurate, compliant financial reporting and providing strategic advice on accounting matters such as IFRS 15 revenue recognition. The role also safeguards a robust SOX/JSOX control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee core accounting functions including AP, AR, treasury, tax and related reporting.
• Design, implement and monitor JSOX internal controls and partner with internal audit.
• Lead the end‑to‑end close process, balance‑sheet reconciliations and timely financial reporting.
• Continuously improve accounting methodologies, processes and timelines.
• Manage internal and external audit activities and ensure compliance.
• Advise business units on IFRS 15 revenue recognition and ensure consistent application.
• Review and approve accounting policies, procedures and controls.
• Provide training on accounting policies and controls across the organization.
• Lead talent development, coaching, mentoring and succession planning within the controllership team.

Required profile

• Strong leadership experience in accounting or controllership.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS 15, SOX/JSOX and internal control frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑service, multi‑entity environments.
• Excellent communication skills for advising senior stakeholders.
