Facility Manager – Operations Leader (NC)

About the role

Denali is seeking a Facility Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at one of its organic recycling facilities in North Carolina. You will be responsible for overseeing receiving, processing, bagging, and selling organic materials while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all operational activities including receiving, depackaging, composting, processing, testing, bagging, and shipping finished products.
• Develop and monitor daily operation reports and key performance metrics.
• Create operational plans to meet performance targets and adhere to company standards.
• Oversee a team of managers, supervisors, operators, and drivers, handling hiring, training, performance evaluation, and termination decisions.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships to support efficient operations.
• Collaborate with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and leadership team to drive continuous improvement and meet budget objectives.
